Beacon netting / slope edge

This type of safety nets is mainly used for signalling, both on the ski slopes to delimit or divert skiers, and to demarcate the edges of the slopes to prevent falls from different levels. Entirely custom-made to fit any existing shape.

Technical characteristics

Rectangular plaited polyethylene mesh netting, with a 100x100mm square and 3.5mm thick cord.
Two finishes are available, depending on use.
Perimeter reinforcement sewn with triple safety thread. For beacons or signalling.
Perimeter reinforcement sewn with triple safety thread, and a 10mm polyamide perimeter cord sewn simultaneously. For slope edges.
Standard lengths of 25m and 50m, and netting heights of 1.00, 1.20, 1.50 and 2.00m.
Orange netting with UV resistant treatment.
Entirely custom-made to fit any existing shape.

Safety net

Especially used for slalom or downhill skiing events. It has thicker yarn for absorption and impact protection. It is positioned at the edges of slopes to mark out drops to different levels, forests, etc. Red netting with UV resistant treatment. Entirely custom-made to fit any existing shape.

Options

Triangular netting

This type of safety netting is mainly used to cushion the impact against elements such as poles, trees, snow cannons, etc. that are inside the slopes. The top vertex is placed on the element to be protected, and the two vertices of the base are at a sufficient distance away from it to avoid any impacts.

Triangular shaped, plaited polyethylene mesh netting, with 70x70 mm square and 4.5mm thick cord.
Perimeter reinforcement with 12 mm polyethylene cord sewn onto the net.
Standard dimensions are 6x6m or 12x12m
Orange netting with UV resistant treatment.
Entirely custom-made to fit any existing shape.

Fall arrest netting

Special nets to protect against falls from different levels. Manufactured according to UNE-EN 1263/1, with resistance against the impact of a falling mass of 100 Kg from a height of 6m. Entirely custom-made to fit any existing shape.
