Two-height/inclined tunnel

This model is designed to overcome different heights, such as stairs or an access ramp.

Extruded profiling for the arcs enables the canvas panels to be replaced by the client themselves.

Custom manufacturing is available.

Technical characteristics

  • Standard height: 2.30 metres
  • Length up to 16.52 m in a single profile. It is possible to connect as many tunnels as required by means of arc-to-arc junction plates.
  • Standard distance between arcs: 1.18 meters
  • Standard widths: 1.50, 2.00, 2.50, 3.00 3.50 and 4.00 metres.

Parts

  • Tip: Extruded aluminium part that serves as the pivot for the scissors
  • Blade: An 50x13.5mm aluminium profile. The blade is formed by tip + profile + tip.
  • Scissors: The scissors consist of a set of two blades
  • Tensors : Lacquered iron parts which tighten the canvas (unique in the market). A pair of tensors are fitted every 2 sections
  • Strips: Nylon parts inserted into the profile by which the scissors are moved when opening or closing the tunnel.
  • Brackets: Metal supports used to anchor the tunnel to the wall.
  • Wheels: There are 3 different wheel types available, depending on use and location:
  • Nylon wheels: The most widely used, default option. They provide optimum sliding on parquet, linoleum, and other smooth surfaces.
  • Rubber wheels: For similar uses to the nylon wheels but with improved grip due to their rubber finish.
  • Pneumatic wheels: For outdoor use on grass, gravel or dirt.
  • Handles: Aluminium handles on the exit end of the tunnel
  • Buckle straps: Nylon straps with hook and loop buckle at both ends of the tunnel to close when folded.
  • Slope plate: Lacquered metal plate for option of tunnel at two heights / unevenness.

Tunnel with different openings

If a different height for one end of the tunnel is required, we can widen or reduce the opening appropriately. It is possible to link openings of more than one tunnel.
